Students interested in pursuing a master’s degree online have 15 nationally ranked programs to choose from at Missouri S&T. U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Online Programs rankings, released today (Tuesday, Jan. 9), include Missouri S&T’s online MBA program, 12 online graduate programs in engineering, and programs that are highly ranked in U.S. News’ non-MBA business and computer information technology categories. 41 S&T faculty members honored for outstanding teaching
Forty-one faculty members have received the Outstanding Teaching Award for 2016-17. The winners were recognized at a ceremony in November. The Outstanding Teaching Award is given each year to faculty members by the Outstanding Teaching Award committee, which bases its selections on student evaluations.

McMillin serving on board of directors for ABET society
Dr. Bruce McMillin, associate dean for research and external relations in the College of Engineering and Computing and professor of computer science, has been named to a three-year term on the board of directors of CSAB. CSAB is the lead society within the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for accreditation of degree programs in computer science, information systems, software engineering, information technology and cybersecurity.

In rankings published July 18, College Choice names Missouri S&T to its “35 Best Online Master’s in Information Technology Degrees list. Missouri S&T ranks No. 7 on the list, which also includes Johns Hopkins University (No. 8), George Washington University (No. 16) and Colorado State University (No. 30).
