The Outstanding Teaching Award is given each year to faculty members by the Outstanding Teaching Award committee, which bases its selections on student evaluations.

CSAB is the lead society within the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for accreditation of degree programs in computer science, information systems, software engineering, information technology and cybersecurity.
