The study abroad office within the international affairs department will offer $2,000 in scholarships to the first eight students admitted into S&T’s semester-long program at Universidad San Francisco de Quito in the Galapagos Islands.

Dr. Tony Frankino will present a biological sciences lecture, “Research-based Learning in the Galapagos” at noon Tuesday, March 6, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Frankino is an associate chair and associate professor in biology and biochemistry at the University of Houston.
