Fikru publishes research on climate policy preference

In the March issue of Energy Policy, Dr. Mahelet Fikru, professor of economics, published research examining people’s preferences for a variety of climate policies. The paper, titled “Policy preference for a net zero carbon economy: Results from a US national survey,” features work that is partly funded by the National Science Foundation.

Most cited energy policy article penned by alumna, EMSE chair

According to Elsevier, “Barriers to Widespread Adoption of Electric Vehicles: An Analysis of Consumer Attitudes and Perceptions,” is the most cited article on the topic of energy policy published since 2012, extracted from Scopus. The article’s authors are Dr. Ona Egbue and Dr. Suzanna Long.
