Most cited energy policy article penned by alumna, EMSE chair

According to Elsevier, “Barriers to Widespread Adoption of Electric Vehicles: An Analysis of Consumer Attitudes and Perceptions,” is the most cited article on the topic of energy policy published since 2012, extracted from Scopus. The article’s authors are Dr. Ona Egbue and Dr. Suzanna Long.

Egbue, who is currently an assistant professor of engineering technology management at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, was pursuing her Ph.D. in engineering management at S&T in 2012 when she and Long wrote the article. Long is a professor and chair of engineering management and systems engineering at S&T.
