The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at S&T was recognized with the Robert Adger Smythe Award at the PIKE International Convention in Oklahoma City this August.

Three Missouri S&T students have received national recognition in nuclear engineering and radiation science. For the 2024-25 school year, the American Nuclear Society (ANS) has awarded scholarships to Mason Darling, Landon Viers and Drew Barringhaus.
