Nuclear engineering students win national scholarships

Three Missouri S&T students have received national recognition in nuclear engineering and radiation science. For the 2024-25 school year, the American Nuclear Society (ANS) has awarded scholarships to Mason Darling, Landon Viers and Drew Barringhaus. Darling received the Incoming Freshman Scholarship, Viers received the John R. Lamarsh Memorial Scholarship, and Barringhaus received the Operations and Power Division Scholarship. Winner selection is based on factors such as academic excellence, leadership within the ANS, references, career goals and financial need.
