Pi Kappa Alpha recognized at international convention

The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at S&T was recognized with the Robert Adger Smythe Award at the PIKE International Convention in Oklahoma City this August. The Robert Adger Smythe Award, presented to only the top 10% of Pi Kappa Alpha chapters worldwide, is an accolade the chapter has been reaching for since last awarded in 2021. Chapter presidents Drew Barringhaus and JT Becker, along with their leadership teams, spearheaded the initiative that led to this accomplishment.
In addition to the Smythe Award, the chapter brought home 11 other awards, including recognitions for their excellence in scholarship, recruitment efforts, and hosting the best overall International Work Day.
