Read More »A team led by Dr. Daniel Oerther, the John A. and Susan Mathes Chair of Environmental Engineering at S&T, earned first place in the 15th annual Graduate Student Poster Competition at the University of Cincinnati with a poster titled “Why Crowdsourcing-Based Work Will Eliminate Global Poverty.” Other members of the team include Andrew Schriner, a doctoral candidate at Cincinnati, who is co-advised by Oerther, and by Dr. Jim Uber, professor of energy, environmental, biological and medical engineering at Cincinnati. More than 130 entries were included in the competition.
