The office of undergraduate studies offers a series of advising development sessions for Missouri S&T advisors to help students succeed. The Spring 2018 series will include the following presentations, all scheduled at noon-1:30 p.m. in the Meramec-Gasconade Room of the Havener Center:
- “Understanding and Engaging Today’s Students,” presented by Dr. Patti J. Fleck, director of counseling services, on Monday, Feb. 5
- “MyDegree: The New Degree Planning Tool,” presented by Julie Parker, assistant registrar, on Monday, March 5
- “Success for Calculus – It’s Time for Data,” presented by Paul Runnion, associate teaching professor of mathematics, on Monday, April 16

Educational technology is now accepting presentation proposals for the 11th annual Teaching and Learning Technology Conference, which will be held March 15, 2018. The theme is “Literacy in STEM Education.” Proposals will be accepted until Friday, Dec. 1.
