Passing of Dr. David Manley
Dr. David Baker Manley, former professor of chemical engineering, died Wednesday, April 10, at age 84. Manley joined the faculty at S&T in 1970 and retired in 2000.

The 19th annual Undergraduate Research Conference luncheon will feature guest speaker Mart Berutti, an alumnus who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1984. Berutti’s talk, “Synthetic Biology to Hallucinating AI … the Critical Role of Missouri S&T Research in a Safer, Sustainable and Rewarding Future,” will be held noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center.
