Missouri S&T has earned the Clery Center’s 2025 Campus Safety Impact Award. The award is given to an institution of higher education that demonstrates innovation and collaboration in enhancing safety on campus. S&T was presented with the award during the National Campus Awareness Month Clery Center Conference in September.

Missouri S&T students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a panel discussion titled “Building HOPE Through Action,” focused on mental health and suicide prevention 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Innovation Lab Forum.

Twelve employees were honored for their contributions to the campus during the Staff Appreciation Day celebration on Wednesday, May 21. Candidates for the awards were nominated by faculty, staff and students. Winners were selected based on their job performance, relationships with associates and dedication to S&T.

S&T has various committees and coalitions that focus on student health and well-being. These include the STEP UP! Committee, the Prevention Coalition, and the Health and Well-Being Committee. All three of these committees were accepted into the Missouri Suicide Prevention Coalition Academy.

Missouri S&T has joined JED Campus in support of student well-being and mental health. The program is a nationwide initiative of The JED Foundation (JED) designed to help schools evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs to safeguard individual and community health. S&T’s membership began with establishing an interdisciplinary, campuswide team. he team is named the S&T Health and Well-being Committee. It includes:
