Read More »Staff Council members thank the campus community for your support of the recent food and toy drives, as well as individual and department donations for the Greater Rolla Area Charitable Enterprise (GRACE). During the November drives, faculty and staff donated more than 1,500 food items, 80 toys and more than $400 in monetary donations. The Chancellor’s Holiday Brunch on Dec. 6 brought in additional donations.

As the name suggests, two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of password safety by requiring a second method of verification, such as a phone number or email address, for a user to gain access.
Read More »Student health services has seen an increase in students who have presented symptoms of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea over the past 24 hours. Low-grade fever and body aches are present in some students as well. The cases are not localized to any one campus or community building.
Read More »Missouri S&T is contributing to a systemwide plan for all four University of Missouri System campuses, called the Missouri Compact for Education, Research, Engagement and Economic Development. All faculty, staff and students are invited to review the first draft of S&T’s plan and provide feedback to advocate@mst.edu. For consideration in the current draft, please submit your feedback by noon Friday, Dec. 8. All input will be considered throughout the process, which calls for final drafts in May 2018 and approval by the UM System Board of Curators in June 2018.
Read More »A daylong power outage is planned Wednesday, Dec. 20, to allow for replacement of one of S&T’s substation transformers that failed earlier this year, resulting in permanent damage. Several campus buildings will be affected by the power outage, which will begin at approximately 7 a.m. and last throughout the day. Power will be restored to all buildings by 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21. Buildings fed directly by Rolla Municipal Utilities will not be affected. Read More »To allow access for construction equipment, University Police will close State Street from 11th Street north to where the street ends near the Havener Center beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19. This section of the street will remain closed through 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20. Some parking spaces in the Havener Center’s visitors lot and B-13 will be blocked. Parking will be restricted on State Street between 10th and 11th streets. If parking accommodations are needed, please contact the parking office at 341-4303.
