Campus mail services will be open for limited hours with limited staffing from Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 29. Mail will not be delivered and mail will not be picked up on these days. Mail in campus mail receptacles will not be collected. Sweet treats support student emergency fund
The human resources staff thanks everyone who participated in their recent cookie gram fundraiser. Staff and students delivered more than 400 cookies throughout campus on Dec. 8. The event raised more than $500 for the University Committee for Assistance, Response and Evaluation (UCare’s) Student Emergency Fund.

During winter break, University Police will secure all campus buildings. Buildings will be locked from the evening of Friday, Dec. 22, to the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 2, when custodial staff reopen them. University Police staff will be available to let campus community members into campus buildings during the break. Fraternity, police adopt family for holidays
The holidays will be a little brighter for one local family, thanks to Tau Kappa Epsilon and University Police. Individuals in the police department and fraternity joined forces and adopted a family through the Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise (GRACE). They collectively contributed more than $900 and then purchased toys on the wish lists of all three children and gave the parents gift cards for gas and groceries. They provided a holiday meal and presented the gifts to the family at the TKE house on Dec. 10.
