Fire hydrant testing planned tomorrow
Rolla Fire and Rescue personnel will conduct routine fire hydrant testing beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, and will flush all the hydrants on campus. As sediment in pipes is flushed out, you may notice brown water momentarily in sinks. Renovations underway at Leach Theatre
When Leach Theatre reopens in August, patrons will notice a center aisle, railings and new seats. The theater, which closed June 25, is undergoing renovations. Plans call for new, wider seats with backs that provide lumbar support.

CERTI merges into CAFE, provides faculty one stop for professional development
The Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) has merged into The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE). The merger became effective June 30. This merger was made possible by Provost Robert Marley to provide high quality faculty professional development in teaching and research and service.

Shared leave program now accepting donations
Missouri S&T’s new shared leave program is now accepting donations to support university community members in need. If you’re an staff member, you can donate some of your accrued vacation hours to the program.
