COER to host networking events for students

The career opportunities and employer relations (COER) department will host the following events for students:

  • Representatives from Boeing will participate in a roundtable discussion at noon Tuesday, Feb.12, in Room 305 Norwood Hall.
  • Representatives from Marathon Petroleum and Alberici Constructors will provide tips for Career Fair and job interviews during an employer panel at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center.

Flags to fly at half-staff

By order of President Donald J. Trump, all flags at all public buildings and grounds will be flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday, Feb. 9, in honor of former Representative John David Dingell Jr. The Michigan representative was the longest-serving U.S. Congress member.

Play trivia on March 2, help sick kids

Faculty, staff invited to ‘Say What?!’ on Feb. 13

The equity and Title IX department will host two programs Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom. The faculty and staff session is scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. and the student session is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. This program by Catharsis Productions is named “Say What?!” and focuses on creating a respectful environment and inclusive culture in a university setting. Educators from Catharsis will facilitate this program with S&T faculty, staff and students.
