Temporary water outage planned in McNutt Hall today

Power outage in T.J. Hall at 11 a.m.

In order to repair electrical damage caused by recent storms, Thomas Jefferson Residence Hall will not have electrical power starting at 11 a.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 22). The temporary power outage is expected to last approximately four hours. Generators will provide emergency lighting in the hallways as well as a functioning fire alarm system.

MinerRama moving indoors

Due to the weather forecast and the possibility of inclement weather, MinerRama will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 23) inside the Havener Center Atrium instead of outdoors. Dr. Mo Dehghani, chancellor, and S&T’s leadership team will serve ice cream treats 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Havener Center.
