New roles for Costas Tsatsoulis, Kamal Khayat
Dr. Costas Tsatsoulis, Missouri S&T’s vice chancellor of research and dean of graduate studies since September 2018, will become vice provost of graduate education at Missouri S&T effective Sept. 1. Dr. Kamal Khayat, the Vernon and Maralee Jones Professor of Civil Engineering at Missouri S&T, has been named interim vice chancellor of research, also effective Sept. 1.

he Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Charles E. Allison, who served the university as a carpenter from 1979 until his retirement in 2012. He died Aug. 25 at age 71.
