Water outage in four buildings

Educational research projects funded

Four educational research projects developed by Missouri S&T faculty have been funded for the 2014-2015 academic year as part of a mini-grant program co-sponsored by the office of the vice provost for academic affairs and the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI). Cards’ tickets sale at the Puck today

Staff Council will sell tickets for Missouri S&T’s Springfield Cardinals Day from 9 to 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 4) at the Puck. You can also purchase tickets at the Leach Theatre Box Office during its business hours or email Melissa Chambers. The Cardinals game is at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, June 7. Tickets are $10 and located in Dugout Boxes, Section L, starting in Row 9. Missouri S&T’s tickets are open to the public, so buy them for friends and family.

Missouri S&T military historian Dr. John C. McManus discusses the upcoming 70th anniversary of D-Day and his new book on the subject today and tomorrow on public radio KMST, 88.5 FM. Salute a veteran blood drive

The Missouri S&T Blood Drive, sponsored by Staff Council, will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B of the Havener Center. Donors can earn a 50 percent bonus on “LifePoints.” The blood drive will benefit the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. There will be free snacks for all participants.
