Dr. Michael Hughes, assistant professor of biology at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, will present a seminar on how animals regulate their daily (or circadian) behaviors, such as sleep and wakefulness, eating and learning, and memory. The seminar will be held 3-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in Room 139 Schrenk Hall. The campus community is invited to attend. Hughes uses molecular techniques, including next generation sequencing, to identify how our behaviors are regulated. For more information, email Jessica Pelc.
