McManus examines the parallels between Ulysses S. Grant and Dwight D. Eisenhower, delving in particular into Eisenhower’s World War II military campaigns. Read More »An open forum will be held with Dr. Beth Kania-Gosche, candidate for the position of Chair in the Department of Teacher Education and Certification from 2:00-3:00pm on Tuesday, February 26th in the Turner Room in Havener Center.
Dr. Kania-Gosche most recently served as Associate Dean, School of Education at Lindenwood University and is currently President-elect on the Board of Directors for Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (MACTE).
She received her Ph.D. in Educational Studies: Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Louis University.

Join members of the 150th Advisory Committee for an interactive open forum 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
The university will celebrate its 150th anniversary through a series of events and projects from October 2020 through November 2021.
At the forum, you’ll hear from members of the 150th Advisory Committee as they share a brief overview of the project timeline and outline opportunities to get involved and provide feedback.
Stay tuned for more opportunities to provide input during the planning process.
Department and Chemistry and Center for Research on Energy and Environment will be hosting Professor Susan Kauzlarich, professor of chemistry from UC Davis, California for a departmental seminar in Chemistry on 4th March 2019. Prof. Kauzlarich will present a seminar entitled, “Applications of Zintl Phases for Direct Thermal to Electrical Energy” in G3 Schrenk Hall from 4:15 – 5:15 pm. Light refreshments will be served before the seminar.
