Marketing analytics guest lecture on text mining

As part of MKT 5001 (Marketing Analytics) class, I have organized this speaker session on Tuesday, April 16th at 2pm in Bertelsmyer B12B. Faculty, staff, and students are more than welcome to attend the session. The speaker will join us through Zoom conference. Dr. Jonathan Frey is recently retired from his position as Director of Operations Intelligence at Taco Bell Corporation, where he served for 15 years as a data scientist for Operations, Finance, IT, R&D, and HR related projects. Prior to joining Taco Bell, Jonathan served as a Product Development Manager at Mars for 13 years and at Kraft, Inc. as a Research Scientist for 4 years. He holds a B.S. in Bacteriology and a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Undergraduate student mentors wanted

The undergraduate advising office is seeking current Missouri S&T students for the On Track student success program who possess the following qualifications: sophomore to senior students with a 2.5 GPA or higher. Selected mentors will receive training the first week of the Fall 2019 semester. Mentors will develop and gain leadership opportunities, and may work up to 10 hours per week.

Student survey on sexual misconduct begins today

You will receive an email today (Thursday, April 4) from Neil Outar, Title IX coordinator, with a link to a survey. The 2019 Student Survey on Sexual Misconduct allows the university to better understand student experiences and opinions concerning sexual violence and harassment so we can work to foster safer and more supportive campus communities. The survey is voluntary and all responses are anonymous.
