Writing Center opens Jan. 23

Writing consultations will be available beginning Monday, Jan. 23. Consultants can provide feedback and guidance on any document for any class — and it is free. The Writing Center offers:

  • Scheduled consultations, available 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays in the Writing Center, located in Room 113 of the Campus Support Facility
  • Walk-in assistance, 4-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, in the Residential Commons

Flu shots available at Student Health Complex

Missouri S&T received its first documented case of influenza for the season. There are still a limited number of flu shots available on a walk-in basis at the Student Health Complex. Flu shot prices are discounted at $10.

Ever thought about learning to swing dance? What about learning stunts? Join the Aerial Swing Dance Club 7-10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays in the aerobics room of the Gale Bullman Building. Students teach other students, beginning with the basics. Students also teach stunts with both lead and follow teachers, spotters and mats, for comfort and safety. There are no commitments or member fees, so feel free to attend when you can and learn something new.
