Due to weather concerns, work to apply sealer to the University Promenade outside of the Havener Center, from Highway 63 to the atom design, has been postponed. The south entrance of Norwood Hall will be closed this afternoon (Wednesday, July 13). The entrance will reopen Thursday morning and close again at noon Thursday, July 14. The entrance will reopen again the morning of Friday, July 15. Weather permitting, contractors will place new storm sewer lines and concrete during these closures. There is a water outage in McNutt Hall and Engineering Management Building today (Tuesday, July 5) due to a city water line main break. Plumbers repaired damage yesterday and are currently flushing the lines. Water will be restored as soon as possible to those buildings. For more information, call Jerry Planitz at 578-0399.

Beginning Monday, May 16, air conditioning in Norwood Hall will not be in service until May 30. Systems have to be moved due to the exterior restoration project. For more information, contact Ron Boggs at 308-7066.

The facilities operations work order system – Maximo — will be temporarily down from 3 to 4 p.m. today while Windows updates are installed and the server is restarted. During that time users will not be able to log into the system to create work orders.

Maintenance personnel and contractors will change out defective compressors on the first floor of Norwood Hall tomorrow (Thursday, March 3). This may result in a reduction of temperature for a short period of time during repairs. Facilities operations will try to keep the outage as short as possible.
