Advertise to new students

The “Plug Into Green” project is even bigger this year. New student programs is once again putting together an electronic magazine to be placed on a flash drive and distributed to all new students in the fall. To be a part of the magazine, submit an advertisement for your department or group via email and pay a small advertising. The cost is $25 a page; ads are due by June 1.

Jessica Gargus wins advising award

During the Meeting of the Minds 2014 conference, hosted by Missouri Partners in Prevention, Jessica Gargus, health educator in the counseling, disability support and student wellness department, earned the BACCHUS Network Area Five Award for Excellence-Outstanding Advisor 2013-2014. Gargus advises Joe’s PEERS at S&T.

Open forum about deans transition

The second open forum regarding the transition to vice provost and deans will be held 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Six committees and four subcommittees have been working towards the transition planning for implementing the College of Engineering and Computing; the College of Arts, Sciences and Business; and the vice provost and dean of each college.

Kappa Kappa Psi trivia night
