Missouri S&T’s surplus property will have a public sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the surplus warehouse, located at 301 N. Bishop Ave. This is a “garage sale” type sale, and all items will be priced.

Mathematical Logic I, credited as either Math 5154, Computer Engineering 5803, Computer Science 5203, or Philosophy 4354, will be offered starting Monday, Feb. 1, and ending Friday, Feb. 26. It’s textbook sell-back time at the S&T Store. Receive a minimum $5 for each qualifying textbook. Participants can receive a scratch-off card to receive up to 30 percent off S&T merchandise. The sell-back begins Monday, Dec. 7, and continues for two weeks. Hours and locations are as follows:

The open forum for Johnathan Finch, the third candidate for the director of University Police, that was scheduled for Monday has been canceled. The candidate has decided to withdraw from the selection process. The final open forum will be held as scheduled:

The final Faculty First Friday of the year will be held on Friday, Dec. 4. These informal lunches provide an opportunity to network and share ideas with your faculty colleagues and university administration. The brown-bag lunch will be held noon-1 p.m. in the Kinyon-Koeppel Grand Hall of Hasselmann Alumni House, located at 1100 N. Pine St. Participants should bring their own lunch, and the chancellor’s office will provide drinks (iced tea, water and coffee) and desserts.

The campus community is invited to the Miner Tank to see presenters sell their innovative ideas to the Missouri S&T Innovation Team 1-3 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 3) in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Presenters will have six minutes to pitch their proposal, which will be followed by a four-minute question-and-answer session. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.
