Joe’SS was upgraded this past weekend to a new version of PeopleTools. The upgrade went well and Joe’SS is back up and running. It is suggested that users clear their cache on their computer to ensure that the new version runs smoothly. Internet Explorer users will need to redo any bookmarks referencing Joe’SS.

Four “Innovation in Education” grants have been awarded to Missouri S&T faculty for 2016-17 as part of a new grant program funded by the Innovation Team. The program is administered through the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI).

Elections for 2016-17 vacant positions on Staff Council are here. Staff Council will have five vacant positions to fill. To nominate someone for Staff Council, visit the Staff Council website. Effective Sunday, July 3, University Police will staff the police department facility, located in Room G-10 Campus Support Facility, on a 24-hour basis. The doors to the campus police department will not lock. Parking lot operations’ operating hours will remain 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies and the Research on Concrete Applications for Sustainable Transportation (RE-CAST) University Transportation Center have postponed a webinar by Dr. Kaan Ozbay, professor of transportation engineering at New York University, that was scheduled for Friday, July 1.
