Tonight’s trivia event to benefit Autism Speaks
Pi Tau Sigma and the department of mechanical and aerospace engineering will present “Centennial Trivia Night” 6-8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, March 21) in St. Pat’s C in the Havener Center. Trivia questions will focus on the previous 100 years. The cost per player is $3. The event will feature a silent auction and cash bar. Proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks.

Tickets for TEDxMissouriS&T will be sold 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, and Wednesday, March 22, in the atrium of the Havener Center. Tickets cost $25 each. Cash or check will be accepted. Tickets are no longer limited to one per person. TEDxMissouriS&T will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in Leach Theatre. Get more details.

Staff Council seeks volunteers to help work booths and other areas during Staff Day Wednesday, May 17. The council also seeks basket donations from departments for a silent auction. The IT Help Desk and walk-in center will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. during spring break, March 27-31. The IT Help Desk phone service will be available during normal business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the break. Nominations are being accepted for the 2017 Woman of the Year Award. This annual award recognizes female, full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty who serve as valuable role models for female students at Missouri S&T.
