United Way of Phelps County campaign packets were recently mailed to Missouri S&T faculty, staff and retirees. Employee contributions help several non-profit organizations supported by the United Way, including CASA, Habitat for Humanity, Rolla Nutrition Site, 4-H, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Senior Companions, Salvation Army, Kaleidoscope and Golden Age Center. Faculty and staff can donate via payroll deduction as well as by check.

Read More »The Armed Services Blood Program will host a blood drive 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Room 301 Harris Hall. It is open to everyone age 17 and older, both military and civilian. Blood collected at this drive will go directly to medical facilities in Afghanistan and other overseas contingency areas, as well as military hospitals throughout the Department of Defense. The Armed Services Blood Program is the official blood collection agency for the Department of Defense. The Fort Leonard Wood Blood Donor Center is one of 22 facilities around the world that collects blood for the ASBP.
