Board of Curators on campus this week, Maples to discuss outreach

The University of Missouri System Board of Curators will meet on campus this Thursday and Friday, April 12-13, in St. Pat’s A and B of the Havener Center. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. each day and is open to the public. Interim Chancellor Chris Maples will address the board at approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday and will discuss Missouri S&T community outreach and engagement efforts. Following Maples’ presentation, the curators will hold a “critical issues discussion” about the work of the University Task Force, which has been looking at issues related to leadership, management, organization, performance and expectations for the university’s organization as a system.

Watch a livestream of UM System cybersecurity summit

Missouri S&T will host a cybersecurity summit at this week’s University of Missouri Board of Curators meeting, with a livestream of the event planned for remote viewers. Part of Havener Center visitor parking lot to be reserved

Repairs underway: Fraternity Drive fixes, sidewalk replacement, roofing project

CAFE offers funding for mini-sabbaticals

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) is now accepting proposals for its new mini-sabbatical program. Proposals are due Friday, May 18. This program is designed to enable faculty to learn new technologies or build new collaborations for purposes such as: pursuing funding opportunities, building new collaborations for scholarly activities, developing new courses, or enhancing existing classes. All tenured or tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty are eligible to apply.
