Register for Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference
The annual Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference will be held Sept. 27-28 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The event brings together faculty, staff and students from universities, community colleges, and K-12 schools to learn about online innovations and teaching experiences. The format features a blend of concurrent sessions and workshops throughout both days of the conference. Register online.

Read More »Cleanup continues after minor fire at McNutt Hall
Crews are cleaning up today after a small fire broke out in a second-floor laboratory in McNutt Hall. The fire started at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, and automatically triggered the building’s sprinkler system. The sprinkler system suppressed the fire, and Rolla firefighters extinguished the remaining fire. The lab was not occupied at the time, and no one was injured.

The front doors of Curtis Laws Wilson library will be closed until 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 8) due to maintenance and cleaning. The library is still open; please use the side entrance on the right-facing of the building to enter the library. The staff apologizes for the inconvenience.

Read More »Construction projects to affect water, deionizer at Schrenk Hall
The hot water, cold water, gas and air will be shut down Tuesday, Aug. 14, throughout Schrenk Hall. Unless there are complications, the building will be back in service Wednesday, Aug. 15. Deionized water will not be available Thursday, Aug. 16, throughout Schrenk Hall. Deionized water will be available again Friday, Aug. 17.
