Volunteers sought for Celebration of Nations

More than 4,000 visitors are expected at S&T’s Celebration of Nations multicultural festival Saturday, Sept. 29, in downtown Rolla. Volunteers play a crucial role in the event and are needed for various tasks. Individuals who volunteer for four hours or more will receive a free Celebration of Nations T-shirt. Sign up to volunteer.
A parade, talent show and ethnic food will be highlights of the event. The schedule includes:
- Parade of Nations at 11 a.m. on Pine Street and ending at the Rolla Band Shell. Sign up to carry your home country’s flag.
- Festival with vendors, cultural exhibitions and activities, noon-4 p.m. at the Rolla Band Shell. Vendor packets are available for students, businesses and educational vendors.
- Celebrate Talent competition, 1-3:30 p.m. at the Rolla Band Shell.
