Sigma Tau Delta is hosting three events in April for National Poetry Month:

The S&T jazz ensembles will perform their spring concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Leach Theater. Dave Cress, lecturer in the arts, languages, and philosophy department, directs the ensembles.

S&T orchestras, local musicians collaborate for spring concert
Two local musicians will join the S&T Chamber and Symphony Orchestras for their annual spring concert on Sunday. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Leach Theatre. Dr. Kyle Wernke, S&T lecturer in music, will direct the ensembles.

TEDx ticket discount ends today
Today is the last day to get discounted tickets for TEDxMissouriS&T at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in Leach Theatre. The discounted ticket prices are $10 for the general public and $5 for S&T students. On April 5, the tickets will cost $15 for the general public and $10 for S&T students.

Donald G. Brackhahn, former executive director of the Miner Alumni Association, died April 1. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Christ Episcopal Church at 1000 N. Main Street in Rolla.

The S&T Symphonic Band and University Wind Symphony Spring 2019 Concert will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, in Leach Theatre. Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and to Missouri S&T students with a valid ID.
