Section of 11th Street to be closed April 24

Parking ticket amnesty day planned April 24

The University Police and parking operations department will host a campus parking ticket amnesty day event 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the parking operations window in Room G-10 Campus Support Facility. Geotechnical engineering expert to present Prakash lecture

Liam Finn, professor emeritus of civil engineering at the University of British Columbia and president of Pan-American Engineering and Computing Services, will present as part of the Shamsher and Sally Prakash Distinguished Lecture Series in Geotechnical Engineering. The lecture, titled “Aspects of Soil-Structure Interaction,” will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Hall.
