New student programs and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will bring national speaker Odell Bizzell to campus during Opening Week. Join S&T’s incoming freshman class for Bizzell’s keynote address 4:45-6:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, in the Gibson Arena of the Gale Bullman Building.
Bizzell is an inspirational storyteller who will challenge the audience members to laugh, think and act. Through stories of his life experiences, he will help the audience to learn and practice empathy, develop leadership skills, and understand how to succeed as students and beyond.
In addition to the keynote address, Bizzell will work seperately with student leaders from residential life and new student programs on being inspired, impactful, inclusive and courageous leaders.
