Box office announces summer hours

The Leach Theatre Box Office will begin summer office hours on Monday, May 20. The summer box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Regular box office hours will resume Monday, Aug. 19.

Expanded, renovated Fitness Center opens today; bring your Miner Card 2.0

The newly expanded and renovated S&T Fitness Center opened today (Monday, May 6). The center is open for use but some work will continue to finish the facility. Students, along with faculty and staff who have purchased memberships, will need to have their S&T ID (Miner Card 2.0) for admission to the fitness center. Older S&T IDs without a chip will not operate with the card reader system.

Funeral service for Patrick Beasley

Patrick Beasley, a senior in mining engineering and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, died Sunday, April 28. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, May 3) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, located at 801 W. 11th St. in Rolla. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Memorial celebration honoring Jack Carney planned May 6

The campus community is invited to a memorial celebration to honor Dr. John F. “Jack” Carney III, former chancellor of Missouri S&T, at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, in the Kinyon-Koeppel Grand Hall of Hasselmann Alumni House. Carney died April 24 at his home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was 77.
