Beware emails connected to scams

The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce warns the campus community that two emails connected to scams are being sent to local business. One message is about purchasing ad space for the “Best Business Directory” and another message is about paying for a “2019 Best of Rolla Award,” and it is not tied to the local community.

Guides needed for STEM girls’ conference

Women are needed to volunteer as group guides for attendees of the 20th annual Expanding Your Horizons conference, which will be held Friday, Nov. 15, at S&T. The conference introduces seventh- and eighth-grade girls to careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. Please sign up to volunteer as a guide by Friday, Oct. 18.
