Encourage students to apply to speak at commencement
Graduating seniors, master’s degree students and Ph.D. students from each college are encouraged to apply for selection as a student speaker for their May 2020 commencement ceremony on Friday, May 15, or Saturday, May 16. The deadline to apply is 8 a.m. Sunday, March 1.

Are you a grandparent raising grandchildren, kinship family or foster family? The 2020 Kinship Care Conference will be held 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at The Centre in Rolla. It is free to attend and child care will be provided to attendees during the event.

Missouri S&T faculty and staff can get discounted tickets to the “Driving Miss Daisy” performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Leach Theatre. Purchase up to four tickets at $4 off the regular price of $38 for adults and $33 for students or youth.

Record number of recruiters coming to Career Fair
Missouri S&T students and alumni will have access to a record number of employers at the 2020 Spring Career Fair tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb. 18). More than 260 companies are registered to attend the event, and many business representatives will return the next day for on-campus interviews.
