Face shield delivery

Dr. Brien Kriete, otolaryngologist and medical director of surgical services at Phelps Health, snaps a smartphone picture of health care staff wearing face shields fabricated by S&T students.

S&T students Tom Hoing and Max Foley delivered the first run of over 1,000 face shields to Kriete on April 2.

Hoing, Foley and other S&T students have been working for the past two weeks on fabricating the face shields, brackets and masks for Phelps Health physicians, nurses and other health care staff.
