SSC to host Sophomore Summit Carnival
The Student Success Center will present the Sophomore Summit Carnival 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, April 29, on the Havener Center lawn. Sophomores and other students are invited to celebrate reaching the halfway point of their college education by playing games, entering to win prizes and learning information about making a successful transition into the future.

Chemistry Nobel Laureate to speak Friday
Missouri S&T will host a winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize in chemistry as part of the university’s 150th anniversary celebration events. Dr. M. Stanley Whittingham, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Binghamton University, will deliver the fifth annual Stoffer Lecture virtually at 4 p.m. Friday, April 16.

The theater section of the arts, languages and philosophy department will hold auditions by appointment for “Heathers: The Musical” noon-4 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the Black Box Theatre in Room 143 Castleman Hall. Auditions are open to S&T students, faculty and staff with all levels of theater experience.
