Construction begins on University Drive
Missouri S&T is beginning construction on a new pedestrian underpass located at the intersection of Hwy 63 and the old University Drive, approximately 30 feet south of the existing tunnel. Construction will begin this month and has an expected completion date of August 2024.

Burken accepts Mathes Chair position
Missouri S&T will have a new John A. and Susan Mathes Chair of Environmental Engineering beginning Friday, Sept. 1. Dr. Joel Burken, S&T’s chair of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, has accepted the position.
