Construction begins on University Drive

Missouri S&T is beginning construction on a new pedestrian underpass located at the intersection of Hwy 63 and the old University Drive, approximately 30 feet south of the existing tunnel. Construction will begin this month and has an expected completion date of August 2024. Once construction is complete, the existing pedestrian tunnel will be decommissioned.
During construction, sidewalks on the north and south side of University Drive will be closed. To see a map for alternative walking routes, please visit the Pedestrian Underpass website. Sidewalk closures will be updated as construction progresses and additional eConnection announcements will be sent out as pedestrian access changes.
