‘Lights, Camera, ROLLA!’ exhibit opens Oct. 1

This October, explore the history of film at an exhibition created by the S&T archives and the State Historical Society of Missouri’s Rolla Research Center. The exhibition will be housed on the second floor of S&T’s Curtis Laws Wilson Library from Tuesday, Oct. 1, to Thursday, Oct. 31.

Idaho National Laboratory director visits S&T Sept. 25

Nuclear engineering and radiation science will host John Wagner, director of Idaho National Laboratory, for a talk at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Room B10 of Bertelsmeyer Hall. Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Missouri S&T in 1992 and received the doctor of engineering, honoris causa, in 2022.

Texas A&M chemist to give Stoffer Lecture

Doherty-Welch Chair in Chemistry and University Distinguished Professor at Texas A&M University, will deliver the ninth annual Stoffer Lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Room G3 of Schrenk Hall. Her talk is titled, “Grand Challenges in Polymer Science and Soft Matter: Wooley’s Emphasis on Strategies to Afford Natural Product-based Polymer Materials with Consideration of the End Game.”
