Read More »Dr. Michael Bruening, associate professor of history and political science, has been awarded a 2016-17 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant to France. The grant will allow him to conduct research during the fall 2016 semester in Paris, where he will be associated with the Centre Roland Mousnier for Early Modern History at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. Bruening also received a University of Missouri Research Board grant to help support his research in France.
Read More »Dr. Shannon Fogg, chair and associate professor of history and political science, was named to the editorial board of the journal French History. Published by Oxford University Press, the journal reaches over 3,000 institutions worldwide. During her five-year term, Fogg will be responsible for reviewing articles related to 20th-century French history, particularly those focused on the 1940s. Fogg has previously served on the editorial board of the journal French Historical Studies, published by Duke University Press.
