Missouri S&T has been named to The Princeton Review’s seventh annual guide to the most environmentally responsible “green” colleges. “The Princeton Review’s Guide to 361 Green Colleges: 2016 Edition” profiles colleges with the highest commitments to sustainability based on their academic offerings and career preparation for students, campus policies, initiatives and activities.
The guide’s profile for Missouri S&T describes the university as “a technological research university that is a leader in sustainability research, education, and campus initiatives.” The profile describes the Center for Sustainability as the epicenter of sustainability. A few examples of initiatives include the Solar Village and EcoVillage, electric vehicle charging stations, renewable energy transit depot and the eBus.
