Windows 11 transition progress

As of Wednesday, June 2, 93% of Windows computers on campus are running Windows 11. In 2023, the S&T information technology team began work on a transition to the Windows 11 operating system and started communicating with employees, so campus computers comply with UM System information security policies and guidelines.

Northcut leads grant-writing workshops, research collaboration at North South University

Dr. Kathy Northcut, professor of English and technical communication, recently completed a nearly six-week assignment at North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Supported by a Fulbright Specialist award and NSU’s Office of Research, she led grant-writing workshops in February and March for all four schools at the university and consulted with faculty, staff and students.

Oerther appointed to National Academies committee on climate education
