Northcut to step down as vice provost of academic support
Dr. Kathryn Northcut, vice provost of academic support at Missouri S&T, has announced that she will step down at the end of the semester to return to full-time teaching and scholarship. Northcut is a professor of English and technical communication. She began serving as vice provost of academic support in an interim role in February 2020.

Summer research advisors needed
The Summer Engineering Research Academy (SERA) is seeking faculty to serve as summer research advisors for the 2022 SERA session. The SERA program, funded through S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing, will host up to 20 rising juniors and seniors from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) throughout the United States.
