Fraternities partner with University Police to support families

Members of Tau Kappa Epsilon, Kappa Sigma, Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha and Sigma Pi partnered with Assistant Chief of Police Oscar Kemp to adopt four local families for Christmas. Together, they raised $4,500 to purchase gifts and gift cards for the families.

Oerther calls for ethical shift in engineering practice

Dr. Daniel B. Oerther, professor of environmental engineering, authored an article published in the Journal of Environmental Engineering, a publication of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The article, titled “Hold Paramount the Health, Safety, and Welfare of the Public and the Planet,” urge a redefinition of engineering ethics.
