Have a technology you want to commercialize? Curious about entrepreneurship? Ever consider creating a start-up team?
Faculty, researchers, students and entrepreneurs interested in technology commercialization and startup development are invited to attend a free National Science Foundation I-Corps Awareness Workshop noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in Room 140 Toomey Hall.
The workshop will introduce participants to local, regional and national resources that support innovation and entrepreneurship. Attendees will also learn about “Innovation to Impact: Missouri University of Science and Technology I-Corps,” a seven-week program that begins Monday, Sept. 28.
Through the NSF I-Corps program, scientists, engineers and researchers evaluate the market potential of new technologies and inventions while exploring pathways to commercialization.
