COVID-19 vaccine update: Phases 2 and 3 to open soon

Higher education employees and college students in Missouri will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine soon. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson announced on March 18 that the state will activate Phase 2 of the state’s COVID-19 vaccination plan on Monday, March 29, and activate Phase 3 on Friday, April 9.

Bureau of Mines buildings scheduled for demolition

Three former U.S. Bureau of Mines (BOM) buildings on campus are scheduled for demolition beginning in June as part of the university’s plans to develop a new entry to campus and new facilities for students. The three buildings are located south of the Havener Center near the intersection of University Drive and Bishop Avenue.
