The final Preview, Registration and Orientation (PRO) session for 2017 kicks off at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12. Incoming students will learn about student life, take math placement exams, meet with their advisors and register for fall classes. After attending PRO, new students will participate in Opening Week activities to prepare for the first day of classes Monday, Aug. 21. Read More »The Spirit of Change is a movement of students inspiring students. Whether it is a free cup of coffee or an umbrella given out on a rainy day, the Blue Key Honor Society inspires students by performing random acts of kindness throughout the semester. A “well” will be set up in the Havener Center Atrium during Opening Week and the first week of classes to raise funds for the program. Students, faculty and staff can drop their extra change into the well. Additionally, vehicles created during Project X will be auctioned to the campus community, with proceeds going to the Spirit of Change. In 2016, students raised $3,000 for the Spirit of Change.
